Activities of Sangha are in accordance with the Aims and Objectives of the Sangha.

Though the Sangha was formed with few members in the year 1980, the present membership strength is around 350. The strengthening of the Sangha by adding / registering new members is the continuous on going process and the number of members is increasing every year.

Every year the Sangha conducts Picnic, Sight seeing Trips, to places in and around Bengaluru. During picnics Entertainment programmes, and the outdoor games will be conducted by and for the members. It is also Sangha’s endeavour to visit the religious and Tourist Places.

‘’VANA-BHOJANA’’ conducted by the Sangha on 16/10/2016 at Shree Omkar Ashram, Uttarahalli Main Road, Kengeri, Bengaluru, received over helming response from the members and was a grand success.

It has been our practice to organise every year Cultural Programmes for the benefits of the members. The ‘’HASSYA SANJE’’ by the renowned humourist Smt. Sudha Baragur and the Musical programme by Hindustani & Light Musical Singer Sri Raveendra Soraganvi can be cited as few examples. Recently comedy drama ‘’ DAASARU BANDARU DAARI BIDI’’ was presented by Natya Saraswathi Shanthala Kannada Kala Sangha , Bengaluru, during Cultural Programme arranged by Sangha.

Deval Maharshi Jayanthi clubbed with Sangha’s Anniversary Function conducted every year are the highlights of the Sangha’s activities. In this celebrations, the meritorious students, academic achievers, and Senior Members of the Sangha are honoured. Dignitaries like famous Cine Actor Sri.Lokanath, & Smt.Umaashree, Minister for Women and Child Development, Empowerment of Different Abled & Senior Citizen and Kannada & Culture, Government of Karnataka , Sri. Kondaiah, MLC, have graced this function, as Chief Guests.

As per the culture of our North Karnataka , every year, we celebrate Makar Sankranthi by exchange of ‘’Ellu-Bella ‘’& Vijayadashami by exchange of ‘’Shami’’.

On the eve of completing 25 years, the Sangha organised Silver Jubilee Function in 2005, and it was a grand success.

Sangha maintains data base on the Matrimonial matters and organises Vadhoo- Varara Samavesha from time to time. This has become a friendly & helpful platform for the Sangha members to find suitable alliances for their kith and kins.

Sangha has started an amateur troupe called ’’Pratibha-Sinchan’’ for the fostering of in- house talent of Sangha members and they present their multifaceted skills / talents during Cultural Programmes.

Sangha is constructing its own multipurpose building at Vinayak Layout, Nagarabhavi, Bengaluru, which is nearing completion. Sangha has plans to start its activities in the fields of Education, Co-operation, Training,etc.

Yuva-Vedike & Banashankari Devanga Mahila Sangha are the affiliate members of the Sangha, who play important roles in the success and growth of the Sangha.
