Banashankari Devanga Mahila Sangha, is the affiliate member / organ of the Parent Organisation Banashankari Devanga Sangha.

Banashankari Devanga Sangha, was born in 1980( Officially registered in December 1982.) and later , after 4 years (1984), Mahila Vedike was started by Smt(Late). Shivagangamma Koppal. The main purpose of the birth of this forum was to extend helping hand to the parent organisation, in their noble cause of up liftment and development of our community /Vedike members.

Mahila Vedike was born under the adage’’ Bhaktiye Shakti’’. This forum conducts ‘’Banashankari Devi Pooja’’ in member’s houses on a Friday of each month. During this occasion, they offer prayers, & Bhajanas. They also organise / conduct Satsanga. Devi Pooja is the continuous one and so far 441 poojas have been performed.

Members of the Mahila Vedike have also prepared some hand made articles like Greeting Cards etc. and the earning out of sales of these articles was paid to the Parent Organisation.

The Forum also helps needy poor people, and members join together to celebrate Family Functions, New year celebrations, & honour the Mahila Achievers.

The commendable part of achievement of this Forum is collection of Pooja Kanike( Dakshine) during monthly Devi Pooja and this cumulative sum of Rs. 5.07 lakhs is donated to Devang Vedike towards the construction of Multi Purpose Community Hall under construction. Savings out of Matrimonial fee collections are also paid to Devang Vedike to help the completion of building construction.

This Vedike also organises Talks / Speeches by renowned Experts, Journalists, Authors and Swamiji on the various issues like Career Development, women empowerment, & Satsanga etc. In the year 2014, the Vedike celebrated its 30th Anniversary on a grand scale.

This forum participates actively and constructively in all the activities like Vanabhojana, Annual Function, Deval Maharshi Jayanti , Cultural Programmes, Religious functions, Sports event, Visits to the Tourist Places etc. organised by the Parent Organisation.

In effect it could be said that, this is a complementary Forum of its parent organisation and truly serves the purpose for which it was born.
